Unique Monocoque Single Wall Rim Design
Using advanced aerospace and automotive composite engineering techniques such as computational finite element analysis (FEA), resin transfer molding (RTM), and ultra-high-modulus fiber architecture we developed a revolutionary Monocoque Single Wall rim design.
Unlike conventional box-section carbon rims that prioritize stiffness, our single-wall Monocoque carbon rim absorbs impacts that would otherwise be transmitted directly to the rider. It is engineered to pivot side to side around the spokes, a movement called \”lateral compliance,\” which provides a more comfortable ride and helps prevent pinch flats and rim damage.
Our Monocoque structure distributes stress evenly, improving flexural compliance by up to 15% while maintaining the torsional rigidity needed for aggressive trail riding.
